The Thief of Wine Story

The reputation of the Napa and Sonoma Valley is the stuff of legend, but only a handful of insiders are granted entry to some of the finest gems, the Private Estates run by passionate winemakers who expertly handcraft world-class wines that locals and industry insiders revere, but few consumers will ever encounter in a wine shop.

For over 30 years these Private Estates have opened their doors to John. Leveraging these deep and personal relationships with the owners and winemakers of these Estates John decided to take his expertise as Certified Sommelier and reimagine it for the 21 Century: The Thief of Wine Society was born.

We have taken the concept of a Wine Club several steps further than anyone else in the wine industry! Every single bottle of wine is hand picked with YOU in mind. And that is a quality that sets the Thief of Wine Society apart from everyone else. It makes John your Personal Sommelier and he will customize each of your wine shipments to your unique palate. These personalized Wine Shipments will be delivered to your doorstep twice a year every Spring & Fall.
